A few pictures
Here are a few different versions of the same picture, edited using photoshop for a project several weeks ago. The original picture was taken as part of a photography assignment for another class. The picture is of my desktop work area in a fairly conventional configuration (minus any spills or electrical fires), taken by hand using a very long exposure (also a large aperture and very high ISO) to compensate for the darkness and still allow for the desired lighting effect. One of these pictures is of relatively high quality for use in my InDesign project. The second picture is of significantly lower quality for use in web applications where leaner file sizes for faster loading is critical. The third image is a manipulation of the first, using the filtering device in Photoshop.
